Industri Energi kom natt til torsdag til enighet i meklingen med Norges Rederiforbund. Det blir derfor ikke streik på sokkelen.
Industri Energi og Norges Rederiforbund kom klokken 01:00 til enighet i meklingen som har foregått i Stavanger siden onsdag morgen.
-Vi er fornøyd med at vi gjennom mekling har oppnådd et betydelig forbedret resultat som sikrer kjøpekraften for de ansatte på flyterigger og innen plattformboring på faste innretninger, sier forbundsleder Frode Alfheim i Industri Energi.
Resultatet innebærer et generelt tillegg på 2,7 prosent, dog minimum 24.500 kronerinkludert feriepenger.
I tillegg blir nattillegget økt med 3,50 kroner til 90 kroner per time. Mens helligdagsgodtgjørelsen økes med 60 kroner til 2110 kroner per dag.
Resultatet gjøres gjeldende fra 1. juni 2021.
Bidrar til at bransjen er attraktiv
Ved oppstarten av forhandlingene 19. mai understrekte Frode Alfheim at riggnæringen må framstå som attraktiv for unge, ettersom bransjen trenger flere folk, og en stor del av dagens ansatte nærmer seg pensjonsalder.
-Konkurransen om arbeidskraften er hard. Resultatet i årets lønnsoppgjør bidrar til at riggbransjen har motiverte folk som løfter næringen og gjør den attraktiv for ungdom som skal velge karrierevei, sier Alfheim.
Konstruktive forhandlinger
Forhandlingene mellom Industri Energi og NR har vært preget av god og konstruktiv dialog. Forbundet har underveis hatt godt samarbeid med Safe og DSO. Disse forbundene stiller seg også bak resultatet.
Flyteriggavtalen omfatter mer enn 4500 Industri Energi-medlemmer på flyttbare offshoreinnretninger, samt plattformboring på permanent plasserte innretninger på norsk sokkel.
I år er det mellomoppgjør, som betyr at det bare forhandles om lønnsregulering. Dette til forskjell fra hovedoppgjør, hvor det forhandles om alle bestemmelsene i tariffavtalene.

Agreement in the wage settlement for employees on the mobile rig agreement, thus no strike

Industri Energi reached an agreement on Thursday night following mediation with the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association. There will therefore be no strike on the shelf.
Industri Energi and the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association reached an agreement at 01:00 following mediation that has taken place in Stavanger since Wednesday morning.
-We are pleased that through mediation we have achieved a significantly improved result that ensures the purchasing power of the employees on the mobile rigs and permanently fixed installations, says union leader Frode Alfheim in Industri Energi.
The result entails a general supplement of 2.7 per cent, however a minimum of NOK 24,500 including holiday pay.
In addition, the night supplement will be increased by NOK 3.50 to NOK 90 per hour. The holiday allowance is increased by NOK 60 to NOK 2,110 per day.
The result is effective from 1 June 2021.
Contributes to the industry being attractive
At the start of the negotiations on 19 May, Frode Alfheim emphasized that the rig industry must appear more attractive to younger people, as the industry needs more people, and a large part of today’s employees are approaching retirement age.
-The competition for labour is fierce. The result in this year’s wage settlement contributes to the rig industry having motivated personnel who lift the industry and make it attractive for young people who are about to choose a career path, says Alfheim.
Constructive negotiations
The negotiations between Industri Energi and NSA have been characterized by good and constructive dialogue. The association has along the way had good cooperation with Safe and DSO. These unions are also behind the result.
The mobile rig agreement covers more than 4,500 Industri Energi members on mobile offshore facilities, as well as platform drilling on permanently placed facilities on the Norwegian shelf.
This year there is an interim settlement, which means that only the wage adjustment is negotiated. This is in contrast to the main settlement, where all the provisions in the collective agreements are negotiated
